Pride’s Big Catch

Throughout  the month of July, Jim was the chief instructor at flight school. Pride was an excellent student and soon had mastered the art of take off and landing. Every flight became a little more graceful and each landing showed more control. Pride would follow Jim everywhere. If you spotted Jim in a tree, Pride was always within 100 feet, often atop a nearby utility pole. (This is an issue that The City and Dayton Power and Light are addressing.) By late July, Pride and Jim were soaring together high in the sky, gliding on thermals as only an eagle can. Then, in early August, Roger captured the series of images shown here. Pride had learned how to hunt for himself!
