This past Friday crews entered the well field to aim, refocus and clean the lenses of both video cameras in preparation of the reactivation of the live streaming video on the boonshoftmuseum.org webpage. The video feed from the two pole-mounted cameras should be available on-line this week. If you are new to our video-stream and have visited some of the other eagle cams available on-line that look down into an aerie, be advised that our tree does not allow for a camera to be mounted above the nest.

As the final adjustments were being made, Jim and Cindy were making final adjustments on the nest as well. One more stick here, a little grass there and a great look of satisfaction on their faces as they perched nearby admiring the results of their labor, made the day a complete success. The eggs should arrive this week or next if past patterns hold true and the 35 days of incubation will begin.

Soon you will be able to pour yourself a cup of coffee and begin your day watching Jim and Cindy as they tend to their eggs and eventually their eaglets!
